Galina Orlova is a Soprano living in the capital of California. She is Winner of Post-Graduate Division Award and she took First Place in San Francisco Bay Area - 2020 Spring NATS Classical Singers Competition.
Her repertoire spans from the Baroque into the Contemporary era.
Galina moved to California after studying and performing in her native Belarus. After graduating from music school as a pianist, she graduated from Minsk State Glinka Music College as a vocalist and a music teacher and then continued her education at the Belarusian State Academy of Music. It was a great experience to study with Professors such as Lydmila Kolos, Irina Baslyk, Adam Myrzich, Iraida Nagayeva.
Also, Galina had been living in Saint Petersburg, Russia, for 5 years. She participated in Christian concerts and festivals there.
Galina has moved to the USA in 2015. She studied at Folsom Lake College with Dr.David Newnham, then she completed the Mentorship & Vocal Repertoire Course with Professor Daniel Paulson at Sacramento City College.
Since infancy, she received the first musical skills from her mother. Now Galina is a graduate student of Robin Fisher studio at the California State University of Sacramento. She has performed internationally, on stages in Belarus, Russia, and the US.
Galina has extensive experience working with orchestras and instrumental groups, choirs and ensembles, and working at recording studios. She also has experience singing in different musical styles and directions and knows the technique of various opera schools, although she considers Italian Bel Canto as her chosen model.
Music is her destiny, and she opens her heart and soul, giving to others. Simultaneously, her command of acting lets her adapt to a very wide range of roles.
Galina's amazing vocal color and range, her rich emotion, her passionate love for music, and desire to share it with the audience, as well as her beautiful appearance and sincere smile, leaves no one indifferent after her performance.
